Brewing news Ukraine: “SUN Interbrew Ukraine” is against selling beer to minors

The brewer is expressing strong solidarity to Kiev Urban Public Administration’s Minors Affairs Service which initiated an investigation on how low alcohol-by-volume drinks have repercussions upon minors’ deviant behaviour, The Union of Russian Brewers announced June 08.

Pledging for a moderate use of alcoholic drinks among adults, “SUN Interbrew” follows the idea that minors do not represent a target for their beer commercials and advertising campaigns. For this reason, company’s brands (Chernighivske, Rogany, Iantar, Stella Artois, Beck’s, Brahma, and Staropramen) outside advertisement are located not closer than 300 meters from schools and preschool educational institutions, and only actors older than 25 are involved in company’s television commercials.
